You think you've got a good job?
Well ours isn't too shabby, either.
We're recuperating from a blitz of events that has taken us from Miami to Gainesville and pretty much every where in between.
We kicked off our latest road tour with a parking lot party at Cruzan Amphitheatre on September 27th.
We spent more than three hours in the parking lot with the JC Western Girls, handing out Catfish Crossing shirts to anyone who was willing to strip down and put them on.
How many people would do that in the parking lot? How about 500!
From there, we went into the concert where Cole Swindell opened.
Lee Brice was up next, and if you've never seen this man live, do yourself a favor and go!
Then Luke Bryan brought down the house as he always does with his hip-shaking antics.
That was Saturday.
On Sunday, we were headed back down south - this time to Miami to 99.9 Kiss Country's Undercover Concert.
We were invited as VIPs, but nobody knew who'd be playing at Gulfstream Park.
So when they announced Lee Brice as the artist, the crowd went crazy.
As good as Brice was at Cruzan, he was even better here.
Less than a week later, we were headed north.
First up was Fort Pierce for Friday Fest, which after two-straight rainouts finally happened! Albeit there was some rain.
We had a great time out there and loved seeing new faces from customers and vendors.
We got home around midnight and less than 10 hours later, we were headed north again.
This time we set out for Gainesville to see Luke Bryan and Cole Swindell again for Luke Bryan's Farm Tour.
This concert was like nothing else.
Picture a cow pasture in the middle of nowhere.
Now fill that pasture with about 10,000 cars, a gigantic stage and more than 17,000 inebriated rednecks.
That's our kind of party.
Once again, we spent a couple hours in the parking lot, pounding some Fireball and handing out shirts.
We made some awesome new friends and saw a lot of fellow Gators!
The music kicked off around 5:30 and we were treated to the biggest surprise of the trip.
The Peach Pickers opened the concert, and if you're not familiar with them, you might be familiar with Rhett Akins and if you're not familiar with him, you definitely know the songs he's written.
"Put a Girl in It" by Brooks & Dunn, "Barefoot and Crazy" by Jack Ingram, "Gimmie That Girl" and "The Shape I'm In" by Joe Nichols, "All About Tonight", "Honey Bee", and "Boys 'Round Here" by Blake Shelton, "All Over Me" by Josh Turner, "Hot Mess" by Tyler Farr, "Farmer's Daughter" and "Take a Back Road" by Rodney Atkins, "Bait a Hook" and "Point at You" by Justin Moore, "I Can Take It from There" by Chris Young, "Parking Lot Party" by Lee Brice, "Hey Girl" by Billy Currington, "Wild in Your Smile" by Dustin Lynch, "It Goes Like This" and "Get Me Some of That" by Thomas Rhett and "Granddaddy's Gun" by Aaron Lewis.
Yeah. The guy is pretty awesome and the Peach Pickers played cover for many of those songs.
Swindell came out next and really went all out. The guy definitely has a promising career in front of him.
And then, once again, Luke Bryan took over.
Out in the middle of nowhere, Bryan was clearly in his element and he put on a typically awesome Luke Bryan show.
We ended up heading home after the show, finally hitting the sack around 3 am.
After sleeping most of the day Sunday, we're back to work and gearing up for another big weekend that includes a trip back to Gainesville to see LSU vs Florida on Saturday followed by a trip to Jacksonville the following day to see Garth Brooks!
Hope to see you guys out there!
